The Cornflowers Holiday Home is less than 20 minutes drive to the fantastic beaches of the southern Vendée. There are miles of sandy beaches waiting to be explored and many entertainments are laid on during the summer months, including music festivals and firework displays.
There are many tourist attractions within a 20km radius, including the Indian Adventure Park - where you can learn to swing through the trees and bungie jump, The Automobile Museum at Talmont St Hilaire and the Adventure Château with its garden treasure trail and pirate picnic area!
An Adventure Theme Park dedicated to the art of the cinema,where you can dance with robots, meet dinosaurs or fly through space. A fun day out for all the family! Don't miss the evening spectacular.
Journey back in time to the era of The Vikings,The Gladiators, the Musketeers or Medieval France in this World Famous historical Theme Park. There is also a superb open-air show in the evening. Book well in advance!
A holiday is not complete without a visit to the historic city of La Rochelle, with its Old Port and arcaded shopping streets. The Aquarium is also a must-see!

For a more sedate day out there is the world famous Venise Verte - a Regional Wetland Park, with miles of canals and ruined abbeys to explore. The scenery is stunning and there are many villages and small towns dotted nearby to stop for refreshments.
There are many different seaside resorts and towns within driving distance, including the harbour at Talmont St Hilaire where you can see the daily oyster catch being brought ashore, La Tranche sur Mer, with its bustling tourist streets and the old town of La Rochelle with its harbour-side cafés and restaurants. A great place to explore and take in the atmosphere.
