Our Holiday Home
The Cornflowers Holiday Home is a generously proportioned old stone farmhouse that has been tastefully renovated by the current owners and offers spacious holiday accommodation on two levels.
A new kitchen, bathroom and shower room have all been fitted in recent years and the house has a modern relaxed feeling.
The outside space is fantastic - not overlooked by neighbours, and a sun trap in the summer. The covered veranda provides some welcome shelter from the sun, and is a great place to relax at the end of a hectic day of site seeing with a BBQ and a glass or two of the local wine.

An ideal holiday home for an extended family break or two families holidaying together. The children will love the heated pool, and the parents can relax knowing their children are safe in the enclosed garden.

The Garden & Pool Area
The garden is secluded and is mostly laid to lawns. A large set of gates open out on to the cul-de-sac and there is a gravelled area inside the gates where you can park your car(s). The house is located towards the end of the cul-de-sac, so there is very little passing traffic, and there are also a further three parking spaces on the outside of the garden along the roadside.

The pool is heated from mid-May until the end of September each year and is 10m x 4m in size and 1m to 2m in depth. There are steps at one end of the pool, and a roll out pool cover for when the pool is not in use. There is a selection of sun loungers for relaxing around the pool. The pool is fenced off from the rest of the garden for the security of younger children.

In front of the house is a covered veranda with a large patio table and 8 chairs. There is a charcoal Webber BBQ nearby and the veranda has patio lights for extending your dining into the evening. In summer, the nights stay quite light until nearly 11pm, and the weather is still warm enough to sit out until late.

The Cornflowers Holiday Home is open from Mid-May until the end of September each year and well-behaved dogs will be welcomed.
The Cornflowers Holiday Home is located in the small hamlet of L'Oulerie and is set at the end of a cul-de-sac, so there is very little passing traffic. Surrounding the hamlet are fields of wild flowers, corn and sunflowers - a very beautiful sight in spring and summer.

The hamlet of L'Oulerie is part of the village of Lairoux, which is famous for its Marais Communal - the local wetlands - which attracts many species of migratory birds during the cooler months - a great area for country walks or cycle rides, with many birds and other local flora and fauna to be seen.
